I’m reading Animal Farm for the first time. Like the news or politics I can barely take the irony, deceit, manipulation and worst of all, the repetition of these occurrances. Will humans never learn from their mistakes or are there just so many people who can’t think for themselves that they don’t give those who do a chance to have a life free of war and needless contraversy?
Sounds like the book is stirring you – that is good. I don’t know how to answer your question – sometimes evolution is painfully slow! Also in my opinion Animal Farm should be followed up immediately by 1984.

I think the book Animal farm was a good book. I understood the moral of the book more in deepth. this is such a wonderful book, even though it has alot to do with talking animlas… from my perspective, i think you should read it.
Hi Janaya,
I have read that book. It may be 10 years since I read it by now. Yes a very good read which I also highly recommend!
Evan
Yeah i think both 1984 and The animal farm are pretty spectacular, epecially with the portrayal of polictical dominance.
